# What Is Continuous Testing?

## Definition

Continuous testing runs relevant tests throughout the delivery process so changes receive repeated feedback. The schedule and scope should match the team’s release decisions.

## Why it matters

A test run loses relevance as the application or environment changes. Regular execution helps, but frequency alone does not make an unreliable or weak test valuable.

## How teams handle it today

Teams combine fast tests on each change with browser tests at suitable stages. They decide who investigates failures and what happens when a required environment is unavailable.

## How Zerocheck approaches it

Run Zerocheck tests on demand in the web app or through the optional CLI in CI. Zerocheck has no built-in scheduler, but you can put the CLI on your own CI schedule. Zerocheck does not provide a production-monitoring or incident-alerting service.
